The Spirit of America: Public Reading of the Declaration of Independence and Community Celebration

Americans in all 50 States, 5 Territories, and the District of Columbia will read the Declaration of Independence together, commemorating the 250th anniversary of its first public reading. Cuyahoga County will proudly participate in this collective experience and invites residents to join the celebration on Public Square, as we share in the American spirit. The event is free to the public.
