The Battle of Lake Erie: Its Impact on our Nation presented by Douglas Brinkley, hosted by the Ohio State Parks Foundation

Join the Ohio State Parks Foundation in a celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the United States with Douglas Brinkley, who grew up in Perrysburg, Ohio and is a seven-time author of New York Times best-sellers and six-time author of NYT’s “Notable Books of the Year”.

Dive into the fascinating story of The Battle of Lake Erie as Brinkley brings history to life with his engaging insights about this historical battle fought in the War of 1812.

A special VIP reception will start at 2:30 for OSPF Supporter VIP ticket holders. Doors to the public open at 3:30 and refreshments and hor d’oeuvres will be served until the program starts at 4:15.

Red, white, and blue/nautical-themed attire is encouraged!

A portion of the proceeds will go towards a new priority fund for History in the Parks which will officially be launched by the Ohio State Parks Foundation (OSPF) with this event. OSPF is a charity 501(c)(3) organization whose mission it is to make Ohio’s 76 beautiful state parks more welcoming to more people through innovative projects focused on education, art & history, accessibility, sustainability, and health and wellness.
