Charley Harper is Cincinnati’s most beloved artist. His unmistakable style, self-described as “minimal realism,” has influenced generations of artists. Through numerous book illustrations, murals, and, most famously, posters of our National Parks. The Art of Charley Harper: Creatures Wild and Tame aims to both celebrate Charley Harper for his illustrations while positioning him alongside several leading artists and designers who defined midcentury American modernism.
