Summit County America 250-OH Homecoming Celebration

The Summit County Historical Society, in partnership with Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro, will host the America 250-OH Homecoming for Summit County on Sunday, August 9, from 1 to 4 p.m. on the grounds of the historic Perkins Stone Mansion and John Brown House located at 550 Copley Road, Akron.

The free, family-friendly event is part of America 250 Ohio’s statewide Homecoming & Picnic initiative, celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary and honoring Summit County’s rich history and heritage.
