Ohio Grows: Exploring Ohio Wine
Ohio Grows: Exploring Ohio Wine
What makes Ohio wine distinctly Ohio?
Join us for a special afternoon exploring the past and present of Ohio wine with Jeff Lohr of House Wine in Worthington. A longtime wine professional with a special interest in Ohio wine, Jeff will take us across the state’s wine-growing regions—from the shores of Lake Erie to the Ohio River—exploring Ohio’s AVAs, the grapes that thrive here, and the climate, geography, and agriculture that have shaped more than two centuries of Ohio winemaking.
After the presentation, head downstairs for a guided tour of Wyandotte Winery’s working cellar and a closer look at how wine is made right here in Columbus.
