Ohio Food & Farms: Feeding our Neighbors Meal Pack

On October 6, America 250-Ohio will join the Ohio Department of Agriculture, Kroger, Nationwide, Ohio Farm Bureau, and the Ohio State University College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences for a Feeding our Neighbors Meal Pack event.

Ohio Food and Farms Month is a collaboration with America-250 Ohio in the month of October to celebrate Ohio’s top industry, Food and Agriculture, and our partners plan to start the month by demonstrating what Ohio’s Food and Farm families do best: feeding Ohioans.

October 6, 2026, at the Multi-Species Animal Learning Center at Ohio State, we’ll pack 10,000 meal bags. The bags will include the ingredients for an easy chili bowl and a jar of peanut butter. The bags will be donated to Central Ohio hunger ending organizations such as the Monda Student Resource Center at Ohio State, Westerville Area Resource Ministries, Worthington Resource Center and more.
