Lauretta Schimmoler Museum: Fly-In and Pancake Breakfast
Lauretta Schimmoler was the first woman to establish and manage an airport in the United States. She served in the Women’s Army Corps during WWII. She was also the founder of the Nurse Aerial Corps of America, the precursor to medevac (flight nursing).
