Austintown Township Community Day “The Spirt of America”

Austintown Township will proudly celebrate America’s 250th Birthday on August 1, 2026, with a full-day community event from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM centered around the theme, “Spirit of America 250.”

The daytime portion of the event (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM) will feature a wide range of family-friendly activities, including bounce houses, a petting zoo, face painting, and an artisan market showcasing local vendors and small businesses. Featured events include the Little Miss & Mr. Austintown Contest at 1:00 PM and a Power Wheel Race at 3:00 PM for children ages 3–10.

A highlight of the celebration will be a community Declaration of Independence signing, where attendees will contribute to a commemorative document that will be placed in a time capsule to be opened in 50 years, symbolizing reflection, unity, and hope for future generations.

The event will transition into an evening celebration beginning at 4:00 PM, featuring live music and entertainment continuing through 10:30 PM.
