American Mosaic

On March 13-15, 2026, The Cincinnati Pops will perform “American Mosaic” in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States. This piece, co-commissioned with the Nashville Symphony, the National Symphony, the Pacific Symphony, and the Williamsburg Symphony, is being written by Grammy Nominated composer Peter Boyer. In 25 minutes, “American Mosaic” will showcase American music and geography. Accompanying high resolution cinematography will feature American landscapes, citizens and scenes of Americana. After the Boyer composition, Cincinnati Pops Conductor John Morris Russell will lead the Orchestra in performing music by other American composers, including Samuel Barber and Aaron Copeland, from across the United States’ rich musical history.
