America 250 Festival in Versailles, Ohio
The September 11–12 America250 celebration will feature a variety of entertainment designed to make this a special weekend for the entire community. All entertainment will take place at Heritage Park in Versailles including the Amphitheatre and, on Saturday, a separate Social Tent.
Check out our Saturday schedule. A few additional surprises are also planned for the weekend! Music and activities begin at 3:00 p.m. Fireworks Saturday night.
3:00–7:00 p.m. – The Tom Daugherty Orchestra
Get ready to swing, sway and travel back to the golden age of big band music! Enjoy the timeless sounds of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Frank Sinatra and many more as the Big Band Legends bring the classics back to life. And that’s not all—an unforgettable Andrews Sisters tribute will add even more vintage flair and harmony to the show! Dust off your dancing shoes, bring your friends and get ready for an evening filled with big sounds, classic tunes and plenty of nostalgia!
5:30–6:30 p.m. – The Quintessentials
Four Versailles natives are getting back together to bring a little old-school harmony back to town! Featuring Isaac Buscher, Mitchell Rawlins, Quincy Baltes and Kyle Wuebker, this award-winning barbershop quartet brings back the unforgettable “under the streetlight” sound of the ’60s and ’70s. Smooth harmonies, familiar favorites and a whole lot of hometown pride—this is a reunion you won’t want to miss! Come hear the guys bring those classic tunes back to life… Versailles style!
6:30–8:30 p.m. – Nightfall
Lead singer Sharon Bertke, returns to her hometown featuring the music of the 1980s. Nightfall, the area’s premier Classic Rock band, is back and ready to crank up the volume! Get ready for an unforgettable night of the greatest Classic ’80s Rock hits, performed live with the energy and excitement you’ve been waiting for.
8:30–11:30 p.m. – Renegade
Doc has put the band back together… and you KNOW trouble is brewing! Get ready for another can’t-miss reunion featuring Matt Meyer, Jon York, Nick Schulze and Doc Ruhenkamp! The band is back, the stories are sure to follow, and apparently that old Dodge van still remembers the way to Versailles! This is one reunion you definitely won’t want to miss!
