25th Anniversary Season Concert at Cain Park

Celebrate 25 seasons of Inlet Dance Theatre with a retrospective concert honoring one of Northeast Ohio’s premier American modern dance companies known for its athletic partnering, collaborative creative process, and distinctive aesthetic. Rooted in the lineage of classical American modern dance, Erick Hawkins-based technique, collaborative performance improvisation, and (Pilobolus-based) nontraditional partnering, Inlet has pioneered 25 years of using dance to further people through performances, education, and community engagement.

This special anniversary performance features Inlet Dance Theatre alongside and the annual Summer Dance Intensive students, and includes cameo appearances from Inlet alumni, reflecting the company’s enduring commitment to artistic development, mentorship, and collaboration. Featuring works that trace Inlet’s artistic journey while looking boldly toward the future, the concert celebrates a legacy of innovation and a contemporary vision for the next 25 years of American dance.
