250 Years on the Frontier: A Westside Story
The Harmar Days Festival is an annual community celebration held in historic Harmar Village in Marietta. The event brings residents and visitors together to enjoy live entertainment, local vendors, family-friendly activities, and the unique character of one of Ohio’s oldest neighborhoods while supporting adaptive reuse efforts for the historic Harmar Bridge.
As part of Ohio’s participation in the national commemoration of the United States Semiquincentennial, this year’s festival will also feature a new educational walking tour highlighting the history of Harmar Village and its connection to the early development of the United States.
