The Wall That Heals Welcomes Home Ceremony- “A Nation Forever Grateful”

ribbon-wavy-bg2

The Wall That Heals is a traveling, three-quarter-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. It lists the 58,281 names on the original Wall so communities can visit close to home.
When the exhibit visits St. Clairsville, Ohio, at the Belmont County Fairgrounds (October 1–4, 2026), it will be open 24 hours while on display to the public. Veterans, families, schools, and the public may visit the outdoor memorial at their own pace.

The Welcome Home Ceremony is intended to give living Vietnam Vets some of the dignity and respect that they deserve, as many did not receive it. It is important to celebrate the 250 years of freedom afforded to us by the sacrifices of our military.
