Enjoy the beautiful Homestead grounds and bring your picnic lunch or purchase food. Come see men dressed as Revolutionary Patriots, go back in time and experience colonial life in our 1804 home with tours led by colonial-dressed ladies, and visit the 1860’s museum of the Civil War Hospital and the Sisters of Charity who served. See a demonstration of fiber arts, learn about colonial herbs, music, and try dancing from the 1700s. Colonial children’s games and crafts will be enjoyed. See displayed an Ohio 17 star Statehood Flag. Celebrate a piece of Southwest Ohio history! This event is free to the public.
