1776 the Musical

Summer Stage Wooster is proud to present “1776 the Musical” as part of the celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the U.S. “1776” is the breathtakingly suspenseful story of John Adams’ commitment to the cause of independence and the resourcefulness, intrigue, and parliamentary maneuvers he and Benjamin Franklin employ in promoting it. There are great songs, moments of hilarity, and high drama as the Congressmen put their lives, property, and sacred honor on the line by signing the treasonous document to break free from Great Britain.
