Sons of the American Revolution Grave Marking on October 3rd at 1:00pm in the Maple Grove Cemetery honoring Elijah Bryan and Eliphaz Wright. This is a very important ceremony because Elijah Bryan was a recipient of the Badge of Military Merit presented by General Washington. The Badge of Military Merit was the very first Medal of Honor and its design went on in 1932 to become the Purple Heart Medal. Presented by SAR Hocking Valley Chapter.
