Storytelling Banners: Exhibit at the Crawford County Fair

The CCHA Storytelling Banners are a collaborative project created by members of the Alliance to promote the people, places, and traditions of Crawford County. This project is a celebration of America 250-OH, highlighting the unique contributions that Ohio has made to America’s rich history and heritage. The exhibit will be located in the Merchant’s Building of the Crawford County Fairgrounds. It will showcase banners sharing stories from communities throughout the county, highlighting local history, industry, education, agriculture, military service, transportation, and community life. Topics featured in the exhibit include the following: Early settlement stories, railroad history, local businesses & manufacturing, rural schools, notable residents & veterans, agricultural traditions, and memorable community events that helped shape Crawford County throughout the generations.
