Independence Day 1813

July 4, 1813 was a day of festivity at Fort Meigs. Soldiers fired 18 shots from cannons in a National Salute and spent the day celebrating the founding of the nation they were defending. Join us as we recreate Independence Day 1813 with weapons demos, historic music presentations, civilian activities, and the 18 cannon shot salute. $12 for Adults, $10 for Seniors 60+, $7 for students/kids, children 5 and under are free
