Galion Barbershops: “Cutting Hair and Creating Culture, How Black Barbers Forged Political & Social Networks”

Dr. Margaret Sumner of the Ohio State University at Marion will give a presentation on how Black barbers forged political and social networks in the early days of Galion, Ohio.

The opening of the “Galion Barbershop Exhibit” will immediately follow Dr. Sumner’s presentation.
