From Slates to Art & Literature

A by-product of the Northwest Ordinance, the Harvey One Room School was originally a log cabin built in 1835. It was later replaced by the red brick schoolhouse in 1876.

At this event oin May 3rd, learn about the history of the McGuffy Reader, calligraphy, enjoy a 1900s postcard display, learn about the history of the American Flag, and play outdoor games for the children.
