America at 250: Legacy, Learning, and Local Impact

Facilitated by the Xavier University American Founding and Constitution Program, and the America 250-Ohio Hamilton County Committee. An afternoon of educational sessions to discuss the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Three sessions will cover the following topics:

• The history of celebrating “milestone” anniversaries in the United States.
• What various groups are currently planning locally: including colleges & universities, nonprofits, government jurisdictions, and more.
• Give current students and other community members the chance to learn more about how they can become involved in various projects.
