Did you know that Polo has been a long-standing tradition in this area since the 1920s, or earlier. Polo was played near Buckeye Lake at that time, as evidenced on maps and silver edition mementos. Polo also has a long standing tradition on the Great Lawn of Bryn Du Mansion since the 1980s. Open to the public, the residents of the village of Granville and beyond watch this spectacular sport, known as the world‘s oldest team sport. Played on the largest playing surface in the world. Sports spectators are invited to bring their picnics, chairs, and blankets to enjoy a leisurely afternoon with family and friends watching athletic horses and players on the green lawn of Bryn Du Mansion.
