Hamilton County Heritage Tree Planting Ceremony
Join Great Parks and America 250-Ohio Hamilton County as we honor our nation and state’s rich history through a ceremonial tree planting. In recognition of the United States‘ 250th anniversary, all 88 Ohio counties are planting an oak tree to symbolize the state’s enduring contributions to America’s past, present and future.
Each tree is being placed in a meaningful location that reflects the unique heritage of its surrounding community. By planting these trees, Ohioans are commemorating local history while contributing to environmental sustainability.
