Early Ohio Along the Portage: A Timeline (1700-1865) Reenactment Event

Enjoy FREE family fun on the grounds of the Wood County Museum at the Early Ohio on the Portage Living History/Reenactment event the first weekend in May for a living history event featuring costumed interpreters portraying life during the exploration of the Northwest Territory and the Ohio Country, especially along and near the Portage River in Wood County. Experience Early Settlers, Native Americans, Military and Political Growth, and Home Life Activities. Period Reenactors from 1750s to 1860s. Pioneer and Early American Life Portrayals. Saturday May 2nd there will be a Regency/Bridgerton style ball/dance (Lady Brandeberry’s Presidential Inaugural Ball) at 5:30PM.

A Food Trucks, Big Daddy’s Sausage House & Denise’s Roasted Nuts will be available for food and beverage sales through the weekend. Restrooms also available on site. Free parking for event.
