Around the Table with Cowan
Around the Table with Cowan will be open to the public on January 9th and will showcase objects from the permanent collection. This interpretive exhibit tells the story of how food and dining were changing in the 1920s/1930s and will be displayed until August 16, 2026.
This exhibit showcases what it was like to sit at a dining table in the 1920s. RRPL encourages the community to pull up a chair and see what Cowan had on the menu. Cowan Pottery Studio ran from 1912-1931, and their products show the rapid changes in how people ate, drank, and entertained. Patrons will see how people consumed products a century ago. Free guided tours of the exhibition are available by reservation at 440-895-3763 or email cowan@rrpl.org
