SUMMARY:Black Patriots: Untold Heroes of the American Revolution
DESCRIPTION:The Clark County Historical Society will host a Speaker Series program on Thursday, February 19, at 6 p.m. at the Heritage Center in Crabill Discovery Hall. As part of America 250 commemorations in 2026, this program, given by Dale Henry, a local historian with the Gammon House, will explore the often-overlooked stories of Black patriots and others who fought, spied, wrote, and sacrificed for liberty during the American Revolution, even while being denied freedom themselves. As their courage played a vital role in securing independence, it is important to share these stories. Admission is $10 per person, with free admission for CCHS members. Advance registration is available at https://cutt.ly/RWBP.\n
